Toddler Room

The toddler program for children aged 18 – 36 months, is designed to support children as they are developing their social-emotional skills.  Teachers focus on helping toddlers learn to follow routines, manage transitions, develop self-help skills, work with others and to develop and use language.  Children are supported to gain independence and confidence in an environment which allows them to make choices and develop critical thinking skills.   The Toddler Room follows a daily schedule and activities and routines occur in both English and Spanish.  Daily activities in the Toddler Room include free time in various classroom centers (Dramatic Play, Construction, Sensory, Manipulatives, Art, Reading), Large Group time, Music and Movement, Outdoor Play, Snack & Lunch, Rest, and Story Time.
